However, with about 5 times the following compared to HTC and 11 times the following of OnePlus, Samsung lacks in terms of customer engagement on the social platform with only 2,449 engagement during the month of January. OnePlus dominates the industry on Twitter with a total engagement of 108,300, followed by Xiaomi with 30,225.
Audiences Are Divided to Positive on All Fronts
In terms of the share of the voice, Xiaomi and OnePlus lead the pack, followed by Huawei Mobile. Samsung Mobile takes the fifth spot with a total share of the voice equal to 1,833 out of 15K. The audience is divided in their response to the mobile industry giants. Across the board the audience sentiment is between 50 and 70. In the month of January, Xiaomi saw the most positive audience sentiment with a score of 71, followed by OnePlus with a sentiment of 69 and SamsungMobile with a sentiment of 67.

The top content from the seven industry giants published on Twitter in the month of January is posted by Xiaomi and OnePlus. Xiaomi has eight of the top 12 posts, while OnePlus has four. The top photo is an introduction photo of the Xiaomi Mi A1 smartphone with a total engagement of 2,843. Our algorithms predict that in the month of February, OnePlus will see the highest follower monthly growth with 6.12%, followed by Xiaomi with 2.40% and Huawei with 1.40%. The most successful hashtags on Twitter from these brands during the month of January included #Oneplus5t, #Xperia and #Huaweimate10pro.
