In a blog post today, Alphabet announced its Google Play Black Friday deals, which span pretty much every category in the app store. The sales run through November 27 in certain markets, which means they cover Cyber Monday as well.

Music, movies, TV and books included in the Google Play Black Friday deals

The Google Play Black Friday deals also include deep discounts on movies and TV shows. The company is offering 50% of any one movie purchase and 25% off any one TV season purchase, starting on November 23. On November 25 (Saturday) only, you can rent any movie for only 99 cents for the day.
Google Play is also offering a credit of $5 that can be used on the purchase of any book with a price tag of more than $5. Additionally, deep discount on some popular titles will start on November 23, and the prices of some omnibus comics books will be slashed to $5 or less only on November 25.
