As we prepare for big black friday specials from Amazon we decided to go back in time to 2016. We were curious to know what our readers bought the weekend of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It turns out that besides a few best-selling books (Michael Lewis took the crown for 2016), our readers loved the good tech deals. Furthermore, the hottest items were Black Friday specials for Amazon owned products like Echo, Alexa type items. Amazon has unveiled some specials on those products and new ones which readers can check out here.

But that is not all. Our readers some to love to dig up Black Friday sales on good smartphones, security cameras, GoPros and more. Below we list the most popular item in terms of total revenue earned by us (disclaimer we earn a smaller percentage for every sale we make on Amazon but it costs you zero). This is an important fact to note because for items like PS4 the fee structure is low but it was  the best top seller in terms of revenue earned by Jeff Bezos (and number of units purchased) but because the fee structure is low for it it got bumped down the list.
