To be bigger this year
Cyber Monday is one of the biggest shopping events, and this year, it’s going to get even bigger. According to deals website RetailMeNot, 56% of Americans say that they will shop on Cyber Monday, compared to 39% last year. Also, the shoppers are expected to spend an average of $205 today, a jump of 58% from $130 last year.
“We’re seeing an increase in customers — and an increase in spending — which means that Cyber Monday has the potential to be even busier than Black Friday,” said RetailMeNot’s chief marketing officer, Marissa Tarleton, according to The Washington Post.
