OnePlus 5T Price, Specs, Features, And Pre-Orders Leak

Updated on

After the rumors regarding the OnePlus 5T being in development from previous leaks, the smartphone’s price and specifications have emerged online on a third-party Chinese e-commerce retailer Oppomart site. According to the listings on the website, the OnePlus 5T price is $549, which is about Rs. 35,500 and is available for pre-ordering. In case customers opt for pre-ordering the OnePlus 5T, the device will likely be shipped to them by the end of November. Here’s more regarding the OnePlus 5T price and specs.

Interestingly, the information regarding the OnePlus 5T price, specs, and pre-orders appeared on the same day as the OnePlus 5T specs leak, which emerged via an Antutu screenshot. The screenshot features  the smartphone’s hardware, but also a possibility that the smartphone might be launched with Android Oreo pre-installed. It is rumored that the smartphone will make its first public appearance the middle of November. Unfortunately, the company didn’t reveal any information and say whether the OnePlus 5T exists in the first place.

OnePlus 5T Specs and Features

According to the listing from the Oppomart site, the smartphone is equipped with a 6-inch Quad HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, likely being equipped with the Snapdragon 835 quad-core processor. The smartphone is also rumored to come in 6GB and 8GB RAM configurations, and two storage options, 64GB and 128GB. It is also expected that the smartphone will ship with a 20MP + 16MP dual-lens camera, while the listing also reveals the OnePlus 5T sporting a 16MP front-facing camera.

As you may know, the specs of the OnePlus 5T equal the specs of the original OnePlus 5, released earlier this year. However, the 5T is said to feature a larger 3450mAh battery, a 6-inch screen and a resolution of 1080 x 2160-pixels. Another rumor concerning the OnePlus 5T is that the handset will support global 4G LTE bands along with 34 network bands.

This is not the first rumor regarding the OnePlus 5T, the smartphone also appeared in the AnTuTu benchmark, which suggests that the OnePlus 5T is coded under an A5010 model name. The benchmark indicates nearly identical specifications, aside from a 20MP front camera.

Other rumors suggest that the smartphone includes an aluminum frame with a speaker located at the bottom. Also, it is expected that the OnePlus 5T will come out with a slightly larger battery than the 3300mAh battery that is available on OnePlus 5. Also, it is believed that the OnePlus 5T will sport thin bezels, which is why the fingerprint sensor could appear on the rear of the smartphone.

Given that the rumors are not yet confirmed, we might need to take this information with a grain of salt. Until the official announcement of the OnePlus, we can’t be 100% certain that the mentioned smartphone even exists.

What do you think about the OnePlus 5T price in case it emerges? Does it have what it takes to be likable next to all the Google Pixel 2 and iPhone X hype?
