New iPhone X Wallpaper Shown In Video

Updated on

The iPhone X isn’t available for pre-order until closer to the end of this month. People who are lucky enough to place a pre-order should have their devices in hand on November 3rd. However, that hasn’t stopped some images and videos of the iPhone X in the wild being shared. This newest video, courtesy of Reddit user, anonymousdave52, shows an iPhone X up close and personal. Obviously we all know what an iPhone X looks like but this video is most interesting because of the iPhone X wallpaper shown.

Take a moment to check out the video for yourself  using the link above and see if you notice what I immediately saw.

Another iPhone X in the wild from apple

Back? Did you see it?

That’s right! The iPhone X has dynamic wallpapers! Of course, if you’re an Android user then this is nothing too exciting. However, potential iPhone X buyers will be excited to see that the upcoming device has wallpapers that seem to respond to the movement and angle of the device.

If you watch closely, you can see the iPhone X wallpaper respond to movement as the user turns the device over in their hand. The bubbles collect on one side of the device and then, as the iPhone X is tilted, they float across the display in response to the movement.

Sure, this feature isn’t as exciting as FaceID, the beautiful bezel-less OLED display, or the dual camera sensor all packed into the iPhone X but it’s nice to see some little pieces or features that weren’t shown off in great detail during the iPhone X reveal last month. Plus, one of the most exciting parts about the video is being able to see the iPhone X out in the wild where a user was able to get some time with the device and a chance to shoot some video. Promo shots from Apple are one thing but it’s an entirely different experience to see people handle the device themselves.

Is the new iPhone X wallpaper shown in this video worth the $999 price tag on the iPhone X? For most people, probably not. However, it’s a nice addition to a great device that is surely going to sell out as soon as pre-orders open up later this month. It shows that Apple has put some attention to detail into the device and put all of those sensors and powerful processing cores to use.

What do you think about this new video of the dynamic iPhone X wallpaper in action? Does it make you any more excited for the device or is it just a nice extra feature that doesn’t have any bearing on your purchase decision at all? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
