Apple released iOS 11.1 beta 3 only one week after it released iOS 11.1 beta 2 and one month after it released the major software update iOS 11. Apple first released iOS 11 only to developers who are registered with the Apple Developer Program. However, the company later released iOS 11.1 Beta 3 to public testers as well. When iOS 11.1 beta 2 was released, we saw a couple of interesting things. Apple included hundreds of new and revamped Unicode 10 emojis and re-added the 3D Touch App Switcher to the beta 2 of iOS 11.1. Many users can get creative with messages by adding new emojis, while fans of the 3D Touch App can effortlessly multitask, as long as they are using the compatible iPhone or iPad.
However, iOS 11.1 beta 3 features different kinds of additions to the system. Apparently, Apple decided to deliver overall enhancements to the system and ensure that it is smoother than it was with previous updates. As long as you use a compatible iPhone or iPad, you will get to see whether the system works better or not, once that full version of iOS 11.1 is out, or you want to soak in the beta testing waters.
We decided to test Apple’s iOS 11.1 beta 3 and see for ourselves what improvements are going to arrive with the official release. Although there are no major additions to Apple’s operating system, compared to the iOS 11.1 beta 2 that brought emojis and the long-awaited 3D Touch App, we have noticed that users can access the Notification Center via the Reachability gesture on the Home screen, which was how Apple’s previous operating system, iOS 10 worked. Also, the 3D Touch issue was addressed by Apple and fixed. We are going to continue testing the beta 3 and inform you if we notice any other changes that Apple has added with iOS 11.1 beta 3.
