As noted in my prior post I am a huge fan of Amazon mostly from a customer point of view, but also as a business partner (disclosed are required per FTC rules on our legal disclaimer), in regards to the stock I used to think it was a dumb long (thankfully I do not short, nor invest in stocks anymore to avoid conflict of interest and because of lack of time to research) so I jumped when I saw this offer (sorry for the run on sentence)! Amazon just sent me a $10 money back Amazon Gift Card on a purchase of $50 or more. So basically if you buy from Amazon a LOT like I do this is 20% off. If you signed up for the great credit card as I did last week you basically are getting $85 back on your first $100 purchase I think. Because the Credit card (link to sign-up here) is $70 credit, this gift card is $10 and you get 5% on all Amazon purchases. But please do not quote me on that one and as always read the terms.
I am not sure why I got this offer but it seems open to everyone even not prime. The offer says it is open to all first time gift card customers.
