“Star Wars” actress Carrie Fisher has passed away at age 60 following complications from a massive heart attack suffered this past weekend. Fisher suffered the heart attack when flying from London to Los Angeles and required medical treatment on the plane. She was then rushed to UCLA Medical Center upon arrival. Fisher rose to fame for her role in the original “Star Wars” trilogy and later went on to have a successful career as a script-writer in addition to minor acting roles. During her younger years, Fisher struggled with drug addiction and mental health issues but had been very outspoken about it in her two autobiographies. Fisher is survived by her mother, her daughter and her brother.
