Prisma App For Android Availability And Alternatives

Updated on

UPDATE: Download Official Prisma App For Android From Google Play – The official Prisma App URL is available HERE.

At the moment you may believe that the only mobile app making a loud noise is Pokemon Go, but actually, that’s not the case. As another app called Prisma, which is a photo editing app has also gathered millions of users across the world even though there is no Prisma app for Android yet. This simple yet very effective image filtering app was recently released on iTunes for users of the Apple iPhone and much like Pokemon Go has proved to be a runaway success.

Sharing Creative Images

Due to the nature of Prisma, its users with varying degrees of skill have been sharing their creations online and as such some have gone viral. And as you can imagine because there is no Prisma app for Android, this has many of Google’s mobile OS users scrambling around the internet looking for a copy they can use.

However, there is no official Android version of Prisma yet and if recent reports are to be believed the Prisma app for Android won’t be available until the end of this month. I would advise you to be patient if you’re an Android user, don’t go searching for unofficial APK files of the app. As these are more than likely going to be fakes, and you run the risk of installing malware onto your smartphone should you install one.

Personally, I have not tried any of the unofficial apps, which are offering Android users versions that offer more than 30 photo filters. I would just be patient and wait the few days that remain until the official Prisma app for Android is available on Google Play.
