Pokemon Go Cheats, Tools And Tricks

Updated on

Like everything else in life, when we first find something of interest we use, play, where it etc as much as possible, but eventually try to find a way to get the most out of whatever “it” is using some other means. If you take the Phenomenon that is Pokemon Go, for instance, players usually start to play out of curiosity and then eventually work their way up to being competitive with other players they may know. So, this means that even the most moralistic of players want cheats, tools, and tricks to help them get one over their rivals.

PokeVision a Pokemon Go Tool

Pokemon Go is probably quite unique in the world of mobile gaming, due to the fact hat it requires a player to leave the comfort of their home and actively hunt for Pokemon. However since its launch savvy players have been trying to come with ways to track down and catch the Pokemon they need.

One such solution is called PokeVision, and it lets a player see exactly where spawned Pokemon are in real time. And what makes this solution great, is the fact that it is really is to do! All a player needs to do is scan a particular area where they want to find the location of Pokemon and a map of PokeVisions website will display where nearby Pokemon have Spawned.

On the PokeVision website, it spells out how it actually works:

It uses the Niantic API to grab the location of all Pokemon near your (or your selected location) and display them on the map in real-time; this means if it is displayed on the map, you can go out and catch them!

Now let’s jump to the part you’ve been waiting for, here’s how to use PokeVision to track Pokemon.

1) If you click anywhere on the map it will drop a location marker. After placing the marker, press scan to reveal where nearby Pokemon are.

2) Next, you need to use the Search Bar and enter your location (or a location you wish to scan) and tap enter. Now you should tap scan. If there are any Pokemon close to you, they will be displayed on the map with their appearance time.

How to Catch Pikachu

If you haven’t got Pikachu yet, there is a simple trick that will allow you to catch him / her in no time. What you have to do is rebel against Professor Willow and refuse to pick up the Pokemon he wants you to. So instead of catching one of the three Pokemon that he offers, be patient and continue to walk until Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander disappear from your map.

When you get far enough away from them, you will notice that they will appear again and all you have to do at this point is to continue to ignore them four more times. When they reappear on your map for the fifth time they will have Pikachu with them, and that’s your cue to catch the little rascal!

Level Up Your Trainer

One of the most important things you need to do in Pokemon Go is level up your trainer. The higher a level you are, the more powerful Pokemon you will find, it’s that simple! Basically, this means that your trainer will have higher CP and HP, and as such be able to go to gyms and winning more battles without having to power up.

Here’s how you can do that quickly: What you need to do is recycle your duplicate Pokemon. For example Pokemon like Pidgey, Weedle, and Rattata. These are Pokemon that you will find all the time in the game and cost almost nothing to evolve. If you don’t already know, evolving Pokemon gets you a payout of 500XP, so can you see why doing this is beneficial?

But, there’s more… Every time you collect a Pokemon like Rattata or Weedle, you’re in for a reward of a few candy, which is nice. Plus when you then transfer them to Professor Willow you get a bonus candy, which enables, even more evolution!

Final Thoughts

If you’re going to use the PokeVision tool, there’s something I need to make you aware of. Niantic considers the use of Third-party search tools like this to be cheating. So the best thing to do, if you’re considering using it. Is to keep your eyes peeled for new information about it. Afterall you wouldn’t want to get banned from playing!
