The fact that I am writing another article about Pokemon GO. Shows just how this mobile game has gone in such a short space of time, from the hottest thing in mobile to a genuine worldwide Phenomenon. As it stands the game is available on both iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. What makes it a Phenomenon? The fact that it became the biggest mobile game in US history just a few days after its release and the fact that its developers can quote stats like having 21 million active users!
Pokemon GO – The Early Days
Back when the game was quite new, it seemed that it was all anyone spoke about. Even now today, the sheer amount of coverage it gets still outpaces almost everything else, but it has slowed down a little.
As for myself, I actually do not know any hardcore Pokemon GO players, but my friends and their children all play the game. And each and every one of them knows of someone else who plays it, and it seems that there is no age barrier! So, if you find yourself in a similar to situation to me, are you considering jumping on the bandwagon?
If you’re a newbie to Pokemon GO, like I am (Playing the game that is) there’s a good chance that you will find it a little daunting. I know I have, as there are 151 different Pokemon to learn about and from what I can tell quite a few things about the game, which I think are not explained very well at all!
So, if like me you want something to help you understand Pokemon GO and the Pokemon themselves, what we need is something like a detailed explanation of all the Pokemon that inhabit this Augmented reality gaming world. On this front, I have some good news! There is a complete list of every Pokemon available at thesilphroad.com/research. This site gives you everything you need to know including Species statistics, which are in-depth and include, the type of Pokemon, height, weight as well as stats like attack, defense, and stamina.
If you’re the kind of person that likes to delve deeply into statistics, there is the option to sort Pokemon by each individual statistic, you can even sort by a combination of stats if you so choose to. I assume this would be useful if you are trying to work out how good your current collection of Pokemon are.
So as you can see, if you’re new to Pokemon GO there is no need to feel daunted. There is help out there and many different resources available to you.
