It has been a few days since Apple released the final version of iOS 9.3.3 to users, and that means those of you who use iPads and iPhones can now download the new software update anytime you want to. And a commonly given piece of advice at this time is that you update to the new firmware as soon as possible. However, if you’re a jailbreak user, this advice is not aimed at you for obvious reasons.

Actually holding off on updating is not a bad idea if this has happened to you, and it may be better for you to wait and see it iOS 9.3.3 is any faster, or even any slower than iOS 9.3.2.

Overall it seems like iOS 9.3.3 is faster than iOS 9.3.2. It manages to boot much faster on all of the devices I tested it on (except on the iPhone 4s). However, apps on the 4s do seems to open up just a little faster on the 4s, which is all important.

If you are considering iOS 9.3.3, from the testing that has been completed it seems as if it is a no brainer if you are using a version of iOS 9. I would have liked to have been able to have tested it against iOS 9.2.1, as it was pretty fast, but that is no longer possible. In fact, if you are using that version od iOS today, you may want to continue to use it.

So that’s it, iOS 9.3.3 is faster than iOS 9.3.2, but and only if jailbreaking is of importance to you. You may not want to upgrade from an earlier version as this will remove any chance (for the foreseeable future) of you being able to jailbreak your handset or tablet.
