How To Make A Video By Using Prisma App

Updated on

If you have not heard of it, Prisma is a photo editing app that has taken the world by storm. First, it was available only on iOS, but now it is also available on Android. As such, its developers have started to launch new features for it. The first of these new features is 360-degree photo and video support, and if you’ve seen the sample videos, you must agree that they are amazing!

How to make a video with Prisma

At the moment there is no official advice being given by the app’s developers on how to create a video. However, all you have to do is follow the steps below using an Android smartphone. If you have not tried the Prisma app yet, you can get your hands on it here.

Step 1: If your smartphone has burst mode, you can use this to capture images in a sequence.

Step 2: Next, open the Prisma app on your device, and then convert all of the images you took in step 1 into a Prisma photo. Tip: Use the same filter for each image and don’t forget to save them all.

Step 3: Now that you have completed step two for all of the images, go to the Google Play Store and download and install Adobe Premiere Clip.

Step 4: Next, tap on the Plus symbol at the bottom right of the app and select the device option.

Step 5: When you choose the device option, you should now be able to see the images in the Prisma folder. Select them all and then tap done.

Step 6: Moving on, you should be able to see two options: Automatic and Freeform. You need to select Freeform and reduce the duration of each photo to a minimum (< 1 second) for the best video.

Step 7: Next, open settings, and from the menu at the top, disable the Photo Motion option.

Step 8: Now if they’re not in the correct order, drag and drop the images into place. You can then watch the video you just created any time you want by clicking on the preview option above the photos.

Step 9: If you want to, you can add music to your video. To do this, tap on the music icon in the top bar and select built-in audio or custom audio.

Step 10: As soon as you’re happy with the video, it is time to save it. You can do this by tapping on share and then selecting save to gallery.

And that is it; you now know how to make a video unofficially with the Prisma app. Enjoy!
