Apple’s much-awaited WWDC 2016 is just a few days away. It is going to be a mega software event since Apple will be talking about the future of as many as four operating systems: iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and OS X (rumored to be renamed MacOS). We have already seen a lot of leaks and rumors indicating major improvements in Siri, Apple Music and Apple Pay.

The WWDC 2016 will kick off at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. ET) Monday, June 13 in San Francisco. The keynote address will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The other sessions will take place at the Moscone West convention center. If you can’t enjoy the event live in San Francisco, Apple already has you covered. The Cupertino company will livestream the sessions daily, and will post videos of all sessions throughout the conference.

We don’t expect major hardware announcements at the event since Apple saves its biggest hardware announcement for the September event. Bank of America Merrill Lynch analyst Wamsi Mohan said in a research note that Siri will be the primary focus of the event.
Siri to be the primary focus of WWDC 2016
Apple is expected to bring Siri to Mac. According to The Information, the digital assistant is going to get more powerful as Apple is planning to open Siri to all third-party apps. Developers will get a Siri SDK so that they can integrate their apps with Siri. It will allow iOS users to do things like making dinner reservations or booking a cab without having to open the app.
Apple Music is going to get its first major overhaul. Reports suggest that Apple will simplify its user interface. The upcoming Apple Pay update will enable users to make payments on the web so they won’t have to enter a credit card and billing information when they buy something on mobile.
