This deposition is taking place at the home of Sumner Redstone, 31 Beverly Park Terrace, Beverly Hills,California, on May 5th, 2016 at approximately 10:54 a.m.

THE WITNESS: Sumner Redstone.

MS. VIDAL: Gabrielle Vidal, counsel for Mr. Redstone.

Would you please swear in first the interpreter and then Mr. Redstone.

ANN LEFTON, was administered an oath to act as an interpreter for the witness.

THE INTERPRETER: Sumner —

Q: Okay. Good morning, sir. I’m Pierce O’Donnell, attorney for Manuela Herzer. It’s a privilege to meet you. How are you today?

A: Fine. I’m fine.

Q: I want to ask you some questions. Who is Manuela Herzer?

THE INTERPRETER: Say it one more time slowly.
