That said I still find it very ironic here that there is no call to boycott far more offensive products to anyone with basic knowledge of history. Whether they are communist, National Socialist or fascist mass murderers they should be dumped before someone who I think is a possible racist but never killed anyone is dumped. Amazon.com Shareholders Join UltraViolet Action in Calling on Amazon Marketplace to Stop Promoting and Profiting off of Trump’s Sexist, Racist and Violent Brand Ahead of Annual Shareholders Meeting
Ahead of Amazon.com’s Annual General Meeting later this month, 1500 Amazon.com shareholders are calling on Amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos to reject Donald Trump’s bigoted bullying and end the sale of Trump’s line of menswear (and other Trump-related products) on the Amazon.com marketplace.
The Amazon.com shareholders, organized by UltraViolet Action, note that Donald Trump has incited violence at his campaign events, spewed racism and vitriol that has attracted the support of notable white supremecists, defamed a female reporter after she was assaulted by his campaign manager, and mocked a disabled reporter for asking a question.
The letter from Amazon shareholders to CEO Jeff Bezos reads:
Dear Mr. Bezos,
As an Amazon shareholder, I feel strongly that Amazon must end its business with Donald Trump. His hatred should have no place in the Amazon marketplace, and the continued presence of his products poses a risk to Amazon’s reputation.
This isn’t about politics: Donald Trump’s misogyny, racism, and outright bigotry are dominating the political news cycle. He has encouraged violence at his rallies, mocked his opponent’s wife, ridiculed people with disabilities, and even refused to denounce his campaign manager who was recently arrested for violently assaulting a female reporter.
Last year, Macy’s stopped selling Donald Trump’s menswear line in response to his comments calling Mexicans “rapists.” It’s long past time for Amazon to follow Macy’s lead, and sever its ties with Trump immediately.

Despite massive public outcry, and major brands – including Serta, Macy’s, and NBC – dumping Trump, Amazon.com continues to sell Trump ties and shirts. UltraViolet Action argues that Amazon.com is profiting off the sale of Trump merchandise associated with Trump’s hateful brand and should take immediate steps to end that relationship.
In addition to the letter from Amazon customers and Amazon Prime subscribers, more than 58,000 UltraViolet Action members have petitioned for the online retailing giant to stop profiting off Donald Trump’s hateful brand and dump Trump merchandise from its marketplace.

Amazon has a history of doing the right thing and removing sexist merchandise. After UltraViolet members spoke out in 2013, Amazon pulled a “zombie ex-girlfriend” shooting target that many advocates said promoted domestic violence and violence against women.
“Donald Trump has consistently lobbed racist, sexist, and xenophobic attacks against entire groups of people, encouraged violence and vitriol against his political enemies and perpetuated a culture of violence against women. Amazon.com should want to distance themselves from this hateful rhetoric, but instead, they’re profiting off his brand.” explained Karin Roland, Chief Campaigns Officer at UltraViolet. “Jeff Bezos needs to listen to his customers and ensure that Amazon doesn’t profit off of Trump hate by taking immediate steps to dump Trump.”
