Apple has just confirmed that it will hold the annual WWDC 2016 event from June 13 to June 17 where it is widely expected to unveil the iOS 10. Before that, the company recently released the first beta of iOS 9.3.2 to fix a few bugs and issues. However, the iOS jailbreaking community has only one question: when is the iOS 9.3 jailbreak coming? Apple has made it increasingly difficult to jailbreak the iOS, but we can expect the iOS 9.3 jailbreak to arrive by WWDC.
Why jailbreaking teams haven’t released a tool yet
There are a few good reasons jailbreaking groups may not want to release the jailbreak for iOS 9.3 anytime soon. The 9.3 brought features like Night Shift, secure notes along with updates to Health and News apps. But it was a buggy release. Though iOS 9.3 was a big update, it made sense for jailbreakers to wait for Apple to fix all the bugs. Jailbreaks have become less frequent, so teams prefer to wait for a few patches to a big release like 9.3 before releasing their valuable tools.
The iOS jailbreak community has been waiting for a jailbreak tool since Apple released the iOS 9.2. Recently, there were reports that the Chinese jailbreaking team TaiG had released the iOS 9.3 jailbreak. But the report turned out to be false. TaiG hasn’t been particularly active since last year. But a fake website called www.taig9.com claims to offer a browser-based jailbreaking tool.
Don’t fall victim to fake iOS 9.3 jailbreaks
Avoid it at all costs because it’s fake. At the moment, there is no jailbreak available for the latest version of iOS. If you come across something that offers a jailbreak tool, it is most likely fake and may install malware on your device. Jailbreak tools are free; you should never pay for them. The current status is that we have to wait for a few more weeks, maybe until early June, before a jailbreak for the newest iOS version comes out.
