Apple’s much-awaited iPhone SE event at its 1 Infinite Loop headquarters is just a few days away. Though the company has sent out invites, not everyone can attend it in person. That’s why the Cupertino-based tech giant live streams its events. As usual, there are a lot of rumors about what exactly will be unveiled on March 21. The company is widely expected to introduce a 4-inch iPhone SE, a smaller iPad Pro, new Apple Watch bands, and more.
What time does the iPhone SE event begin?
The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. PT or 1 p.m. ET on Monday. If you live outside the United States, follow this link to find out what time that is in your local time zone. The event will be live streamed for iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Windows 10 users. Here’s how you can watch it live:
Apple TV: You need a second, third, or fourth-generation Apple TV running software version 6.2 or later to view the event. For the fourth-generation Apple TV users, the company has added a new Apple Events app that you can find in the tvOS App Store to download it. The second and third-generation Apple TV users have to wait for the Apple Events channel to appear on the home screen before the event.
Windows 10: Yes, Apple now allows Windows 10 PC users to watch its events live. But you have to use Microsoft’s Edge browser to access the stream by following this link.
iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch: You can also watch the iPhone SE event using your iPhone, iPod or iPod Touch. Just make sure that the device is running iOS 7 or later. Visit this link using the Safari browser.
Mac: The event can be viewed on a Mac with Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X version 10.8.5 or later. Simply go to this link at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, March 21.
The iPhone SE is said to have the same design elements as the iPhone 5S, but with much more powerful innards. The device will reportedly feature the A9 chip with M9 co-processor, always-on ‘Hey Siri’ support, Live Photos, NFC for Apple Pay, a 12-megapixel main camera, and upgrades to the WiFi and cellular hardware. The device is rumored to be available in 16GB and 64GB storage options.
The new 9.7-inch iPad Pro is expected to feature quad-core stereo speakers, support for Apple Pencil, and improved power and memory.
