Updated on

For the 4th time this year, FOX Business Network has topped rival CNBC in the coveted advertiser demo of adults aged 25-54 during Business Day. On Tuesday, March 8th, FBN notched 35,000 viewers in the demo, a 59 percent advantage over CNBC’s 22,000. In addition, FBN swept CNBC every hour in the demo from 8am – 1pm and 2pm – 8pm.

In total viewers, FBN pulled within 32 percent of CNBC with 111,000 total viewers to CNBC’s 163,000. The network has been gaining traction on CNBC since the June 1st lineup change that moved Maria Bartiromo to the highly influential 6-9am hour and Neil Cavuto to the midday markets timeslot.

And ratings just came in  for Wednesday and for the first time ever – FBN has scored back to back ratings wins against CNBC in the demo. It’s the 7th win since the network launched, but the first time this has happened.
