Wal-Mart Stores is now ready for Black Friday, the most anticipated sales event in the United States as consumers take advantage of the biggest deals before the holiday season.
The world’s largest retailer refreshed its approach to the biggest sales event of the year and described Black Friday in three words: deals, availability and simplicity.
Wal-Mart said it was offering the deepest availability on the most products in stores and online. The retail giant’s Black Friday sales event will start online at 12:01 AM PT and in stores at 6:00 PM PT on Thanksgiving Day (November 26).
Wal-Mart will offer majority of Black Friday deals online
According to the retail giant, it would be the first time that majority of its Black Friday deals including televisions, video game consoles, and small home appliances will be available at Walmart.com
Steve Bratspies, chief merchandising officer at Wal-Mart U.S., said, “Our customers can count on us to deliver three things on Black Friday – we’re offering amazing prices, we bought deeper on the gifts they want, and we simplified the shopping experience in stores and online.”
Wal-Mart said it is different from other retailers, which advertise a great price on products for Black Friday but their stock is limited. The retail giant’s stores have a substantial stock of the most-wanted products including one million televisions, 15 million movies and more the 15 million pajamas for the Black Friday sales event.
“Walmart will never be the retailer that broadcasts a great price on Black Friday and then ends up only having a few in stock. We bought deep on televisions, toys and more to ensure hundreds of customers in a store – not tens of customers – get the gift they want,” said Bratspies.

Consumers will be able to buy the above items in designated areas at Wal-Mart stores from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on November 27. They have the option to bring the product home that night or receive it at a store before Christmas.
