How To Access Notification Center Using Reachability On iPhone 6

Updated on

Big devices, small problems! If you like using larger screen devices, then one problem with them is that reaching all areas with one hand might not be possible or is very difficult. That’s why when Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the company also announced a new feature for making it easier to use it with one hand. This feature is known as Reachability, and it is a very useful addition to iPhone.

It helps users be able to reach to the top of the screen easily, especially when using it with a single hand. To use Reachability, all you need to do is double tap on the home button, and the content of your screen will move to the bottom half of the screen where your thumb can reach it easily. Note that you need to double tap on the home button but don’t double press it.

iPhone 6 – Using Reachability to open Notification Center

Did you know that you can use Reachability to access Notification center? Here’s how you can do it.

You need to first have Reachability active by double tapping on the Home button. Next, just swipe down anywhere from above the status bar area. That’s all you need to do. You will now see that the Notification Center will come down from the top.

So go ahead, try it out on your iPhone, and make life a little simpler. Reachability is certainly very useful for those who want to use their iPhone with one hand and perhaps very useful for those with little fingers.
