B&H charging more
BlackBerry’s Android-powered slider device is available with the camera and electronics retailer based in New York City. It must be noted that the retailer is charging $699.99 for the Priv, which is just 99 cents more than what BlackBerry is charging.
Devices preordered from BlackBerry and B&H have different shipping dates. The Canadian firm is expected to start deliveries around Nov. 9, while B&H Photo will start deliveries Nov. 20. Buyers in New York City can collect the handset in person from the B&H store located at 420 9th Avenue.
Carrier option for the Priv
Just days before the official launch, a fresh photo of the BlackBerry Priv has been spotted on the Verizon network via an Instagram update. Fresh rumors indicate a possible carrier option for the handset. CrackBerry was the first to notice the Instagram photo in which the device is seen running on Verizon’s network.
In the image, the BlackBerry Priv is seen connected to Verizon Wireless. Phone Arena reported that the device does not bear any carrier logo on the front, but the display has several notifications of which one points to “Enhanced Verizon Store visits.”
