As Black Friday approaches, consumers across the United States are contemplating another raft of bargains. And nowhere are deals more keenly concentrated than with regard to consumer electronics. The biggest retailers strongly discount consumer electronics products over the holiday period, and this year will be no exception to this rule.
Black Friday Camera Deals
In particular, serious photographers can pick up some real bargains over the Black Friday period. Several of the most prominent big box retailers have offers available, and whether you are a professional or amateur enthusiast, you should be able to find a camera deal to suit your particular pocket and interest.

The well-known retailer Best Buy is offering the Nikon D7100 for the extremely competitive price of $1,149. This is a powerful DSLR camera available at a very affordable price points, that was originally retailing at $1,699.
Another option for Black Friday shoppers is the Nikon D3300. This is significantly more affordable than the D7100, and can be viewed as a mid-range unit. This camera originally retailed at $699, but Best Buy is offering it for $599 with with a 55-300mm lens and a camera bag also included.
Another particularly credible camera company is Canon, and there are numerous offers available for Canon as well. Firstly, eBay is offering the Canon EOS 6D DSLR on Black Friday, with the price reduced quite markedly. Whereas the recommended retail price of this unit is $1,699, eBay has announced that it will be slashed to just $999. eBay has also indicated that it will announce on Black Friday a range of accessories that also come with the Canon unit, so it is certainly worth keeping an eye on developments.
Best Buy is not being left out in the camera bargains department, with the RebelTSi available at Best Buy for $799. This represents a $300 reduction from its original price, while the camera comes complete with both an 18-55mm and a 55-250mm lens, a 32GB memory card and its own camera bag.
Amazon are also offering Canon bargains, with the EOS 70D DSLR available for just $899. Again, this represents a $300 price cut from its original retail value, but it is worth noting that this price only includes the main body of the camera. Accessories will still cost extra, but other deals are available. For example, BH Photo Video is pricing the unit at the same level as Amazon, but also offering a 16GB memory card, a shoulder bag and a battery pack as part of the deal.
Kohls is also offering the Canon EOS Rebel T5 for A fantastic price of just under 50 percent of its usual retail value. You can get this camera up for $399, slashed from its standard retail pricing of $799. And if that isn’t encouragement enough, it is also possible to acquire an 18-55mm lens and a 75-300mm lens to accompany the main camera.
The Canon PowerShot SX710 is also available on offer at Best Buy, with the price of the camera slashed to just $349. A complementary camera case is also included in this deal.
The Japanese consumer electronics giant Sony is also very conversant with cameras, and there are a few good offers available on its products as well. The Sony Alpha a6000 is discounted by 25 percent at eBay, while the GoPro Hero 4 will also be available for $100 less at $299.

Numerous EOS Rebel cameras are also available at a discounted rate, with the EOS Rebel T5 2 Lens Kit (18-55mm and 75-300mm) available with a big saving of $350. Other models are available with even bigger savings with both the EOS Rebel T5i 2 Lens Kit (18-55mm and 55-250mm) and EOS Rebel SL1 with 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses available at $400 less than the usual retail price. At $699.99 and $499.99 respectively, these are two more excellent camcorder deals from Best Buy.
Action cameras are also discounted at the online retailer, with the 64GB Sandisk Extreme Plus memory card with GoPro’s latest mid-range and high end models. Best Buy is also offering an $80 gift card for those consumers who purchase the HERO4 Silver.
Numerous Panasonic products are also available at a discounted rate on Black Friday. The LUMIX DMC-FZ70KA 16.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera will sell at $179.99 at Black Friday, a $120 discount. The Galaxy 2 16.3 Megapixel Digital Camera will cost $200 less than usual, retailing at $249.99.

Finally, there are a range of accessories and memory cards available at Best Buy which are also on offer. Central to this are branded SD and MicroSD cards which will be retailing at some extremely competitive prices over the Black Friday period. These branded cards are top quality, and well worth considering for all camera punters.
