iPhone 7 Concept With 24MP Camera And 3,000mAh Battery

Updated on

So many concept designers are coming up with new iPhone 7 concepts that you may feel like the phone was just a few days away from launch. Even though designers’ excitement around the iPhone 7 continues to grow, Apple may not launch its next-gen flagship smartphone until late 2016. Now concept designer Hasan Kaymak (via Concepts iPhone) has released an iPhone 7 concept video that is quite optimistic, to say the least.

iPhone 7 Concept With 24MP Camera And 3,000mAh Battery

iPhone 7 gets a major camera upgrade

The rendering envisions iPhone 7 with a full-aluminum body without the plastic lines across the rear. Though Apple uses Series 7000 aluminum in iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, a new report from Mac Otakara claims that Apple will use a new casing material in the next year’s iPhone. The concept iPhone 7 is slightly curved on the back. The phone also features a Retina Display 3 screen.

Hasan Kaymak imagines the device with an impressive 24-megapixel main camera, a significant upgrade from 12MP camera in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. It is powered by a huge 3,000mAh battery that may increase the time between recharges. The iPhone 7 is also expected to feature a hexa-core A10 processor supplied by Intel, Samsung and TSMC.

Apple logo to replace Home button?

Another highlight of the concept is an Apple logo that works as the Home button and Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The iOS 10 software lets you interact with the device through iWidgets and Actions. And yes, Kaymak’s iPhone 7 doesn’t need a SIM card. All these software and hardware features make room for a stunning edge-to-edge display.

Last week, Apple was granted a patent for a curved and flexible display technology. It would be interesting to see if the Cupertino company uses the patent in iPhone 7. Apple may even use the technology to create 2.5D or 3D images. Another report claims that the next year’s iPhone will be waterproof and dustproof. Meanwhile, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone 7 will be the slimmest iPhone ever. In fact, it will be slimmer than the latest iPod Touch and iPad Air 2.
