BlackBerry Releases New Video Ad To Promote Priv

BlackBerry has come up with a 30-second black and white ad which seems to be the first television commercial for its flagship Android-powered device Priv. What’s interesting is that the phone is not shown clearly until the end of the ad.

Promoting the Priv’s features

The ad conveys the message that the entire life of users is inside their smartphone, and their privacy is at risk if their device is lost, stolen or hacked. BlackBerry did not hold a media event to introduce the Priv to the world and has been very low key about it. But now it is coming out to promote its flagship.

BlackBerry has released one new feature overview video for the upcoming device. The video offers a pretty fantastic overview of the Priv and its features, such as BlackBerry Hub, Pop-Up Widgets, DTEK, 4K video recording and more. BlackBerry kept its focus on some of the unique features it is bringing to Android in the overview video.
