September 17 — Germany is braced for an influx of refugees that could top one million this year, more than previously estimated. But a small town south of Frankfurt is offering new arrivals there the chance to work. It may only be 20 hours a week for one euro per hour, but as Bloomberg’s Hans Nichols explains from Pfungstadt, it’s attracting all sorts of interest.
