Apple’s new iOS 9 is now available, and if you have already updated to this new OS, then you must have noticed one small change that you might or might not like. This change is related to the iOS keyboard, and it is aimed at fixing the Shift key problem. However, some might not consider it a problem and might want to get back the all-caps keyboard again. Fortunately, there’s an easy way for that.
In iOS 9 you will be able to see lowercase when the Shift key is not pressed and then uppercase when it is pressed or when the Capslock is pressed. This is usually how it works on other mobile platforms like Android. This method will minimize confusion about when the Shift key is pressed and whether you will be typing in uppercase or lowercase. But not everyone agrees to this, and if you aren’t happy with this change, then there’s a way to get back to the old keyboard.
Getting the iOS 8 like keyboard in iOS 9
Step 1: Launch the Settings app.
Step 2: Go to General > Accessibility > Keyboard.
Step 3: Once there, you’ll see a toggle under Software Keyboards. Toggle that setting to OFF, and you are done.
