Aliens might have paid a visit to Russia. Two residents in the Russian town of Sosnovy Bor, next to the River Kovashi, have found the corpse with a “mysterious skull” that looks like something straight out of a sci-fi movie, reports The Daily Express. The town of Sosnovy Bor was established in 1958 to serve the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant.
Scientists extensively studying the creature
The locals who spotted the corpse by chance initially thought it to be a mutant chicken embryo that someone had discarded. But scientists have rejected that theory. Its elongated body, the distended skull that lacks wings and a neck, and talon-like feet have puzzled biologists in Russia. One scientist was quoted as saying, “It seems that this body is neither fish nor fowl.”
In his book, The Dhandho Investor: The Low–Risk Value Method to High Returns, Mohnish Pabrai coined an investment approach known as "Heads I win; Tails I don't lose much." Yegor Zaderev, a biologist at the Institute of Biophysics in Krashnoyarsk, said it was impossible to make a quick identification of the “tiny alien body.” Zaderev said they needed to wait for results of an extensive study in Moscow. However, alien hunters have been quick to add that the creature had extra-terrestrial origins. UFO Sightings Daily editor Scott Waring said the corpse had no resemblance to any animal known.
Someone may actually believe alien sightings in Russia
Over the years, several mysterious crop circles have been spotted in Russia. It led many to believe that aliens must have paid a visit to Russia. Stories of alien sightings are usually not taken seriously. But the Apollo-14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell has regularly expressed his belief in aliens ever since he landed on the surface of the moon in 1971. He has also gone on record to say that governments might be covering up alien sightings because “people were not ready to handle it.”
Edgar Mitchell is no dummy. He has served in the U.S. Navy, holds an M.S. in aeronautical engineering and a doctorate in aeronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He said last month that UFOs have been “attempting to keep us from going to war.” Mitchell would not be surprised if someone said that the corpse found in Russia belonged to an extra-terrestrial creature.
