According to the report, Apple requested its suppliers to produce 85 million to 90 million units combined of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus. Both devices have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screens. Last year, iPhone order an initial production of around 70 to 80 million units of the first large screen iPhones.

iPhone 6S, iPhone 6 Plus key features

In May, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus will be released in September, and will have 11 key features.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo the next generation iPhone 6S and iPhone, 6S Plus will still sport a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen. The devices will come in additional casing colors including a rose gold. Both devices will be integrated with a Force Touch, improved Touch ID, gesture control support, and improved camera.

Apple also added one microphone to improve voice quality and both devices are powered by an A9 processor with 2GB LPDDR4. The tech giant also resolved the bending issue by using different casing materials and internal mechanical design changes.
