Samsung Introduces Galaxy J5 And Galaxy J7

Samsung just launched two new smartphones for people who like to take selfies. The new smartphones are the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. Both models boast 5MP cameras and an LED flash.

Features of the Galaxy J5 and J7

The J5 model features  5-inch display, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and a 2,600mAh battery. The J7 model features a slight upgrade in display size with a 5.5-inch display. It also features an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and a 3,000mAh battery.

The new phones feature dual-SIM cards and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung launched the two new J-series phones in China just one day after launching two new tablets in India. The tablets are in the mid-price range. The new tablets are called the Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab B.

Preorders for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge

In other Samsung-related news, the South Korean tech giant is preparing to launch its popular phones in brighter colors in the U.K. soon. In early July, consumers will be able to purchase the Galaxy S6 in blue topaz or the Galaxy S6 Edge in emerald green. The latter device will be available in High Street retail stores and at network operators. The list includes Carphone Warehouse, Vodafone, 02, EE and Three.

The former phone will be exclusively available at Carphone Warehouse and Samsung Experience Stores. The device will be available for a limited time from July 1 to August 12. Interested customers can preorder the devices.

Samsung remains one of the most popular smartphone brands next to rival Apple, and it’s a top choice for Android phones. In efforts to reach a wide variety of markets, Samsung likes to offer a variety of phones, especially in the Galaxy line. The company’s variety of smartphones give it just a slight edge over competitors as it gives consumers more of a choice.
