Step 1: First, ensure that you are running the latest version of Chrome on your Android smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: Tap on the Menu button at the top right side (the one with three dots) and then tap on Settings.

Step 3: On the Settings page, tap on “Merge tabs and apps”

Step 4: Now, toggle the switch to OFF if you want to manage tabs through the Chrome app.

If in future you change your mind, and decide you want to see the tabs in Chrome separately, then you can easily switch back.
