Gmail recently launched a useful feature all users can appreciate. The company debuted the “Undo Send” button, which allows users to unsend emails before it’s too late. There is only one caveat with the feature, and that is that it can be used only up to ten seconds after the user presses the send button.
Google unveils new feature after 6 years
Google worked on perfecting the button for six years, so it’s been a long time coming. The search giant confirmed the new feature in a blog post with the following message:
“Previously a popular feature in Gmail Labs, and recently added to Inbox by Gmail, today we’re adding ‘Undo Send’ as a formal setting in Gmail on the web.”
It has yet to be announced when the feature will arrive on the Gmail apps for iOS and Android. Fortunately, the feature was added to the Inbox mobile app for email. Surprisingly, the web update comes just one month after Google rolled out the feature to Inbox users. Just last week, the tech giant expanded its experimental features with another update. The update includes a feature that allows users to set up email reminders for important tasks. Google wants to set the standard for email service, and adding these new features will certainly help.
Google unveils new watch face styles for Android Wear
Google also just announced 17 new Android Wear watch faces that are now available through the Play Store. The search giant teamed up with many fashion labels and other notable brands to create fun designs. Most of the watch faces are free. Notable styles include designs from Cynthia Rowley, Hello Kitty, Moods of Norway, and more.
Right now, there are over 1,500 downloadable Android Wear watch faces to choose from. This is great news for Android Wear owners who really want to customize their device.
