Updated on

BlackBerry’s Passport and Classic smartphones are now being sold at discounted prices. The news does not come as a surprise as barely a month before, a report from Morgan Stanley talked about the sluggish sales numbers of the new phones.

Discounts on other models too

Buyers can log on to the BlackBerry online store to buy the unlocked versions of both devices at the discounted prices. The initial price of the Passport device was $599, and now it has been slashed by $50, selling for $549 now. Similarly, the initial price of the Classic device was $449, and now, it is being offered at $399.

Apart from the new models, the BlackBerry Q5 and Z30 are also being offered at a discounted rate of $149 and $229 respectively. Both prices are lower than their initial prices of $249 and $349 respectively. Apart from in the U.S., BlackBerry has lowered prices in other markets where ShopBlackBerry is also available.
