How to take screenshot on Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge
To take a screenshot on Samsung Galaxy S6, simply open the app or the screen which you want to capture. Now, hold the power and home button at the same time, which will capture the screenshot. Yes, it’s as simple as that. This same method can also be applied to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Once the screenshot is captured, the screen will flash and you can hear a camera shutter sound.
A shortcut to the newly captured screenshot will be placed in the Notifications bar, or you can view this screenshot from the Gallery app or Samsung’s built-in file manager known as “My Files”.
There’s also another method to capture a screenshot. You can also do this with the help of your palm. Simply swipe the screen with the edge of your hand across it, from side to side, keeping in contact with the screen.
If this setting for taking screenshots is disabled, then you can enable it from: Settings > Motion > Motions and gestures, and tap on “Palm swipe to capture.” Now you have enabled this setting.
