Sony Mobile Communications vice president Tony McNulty said they wanted to add premium features to the phone. The Xperia E4 phone features a simple set-up, quality display and impressive battery life all on one phone. It is interesting that this announcement comes weeks before the upcoming Mobile World Congress Event, which is set to take place March 2-5 in Barcelona. Sony usually introduces its new gadgets during the annual event.
Xperia E4 is not an Android competitor
The new phone has a lot going for it, but it is not the Android rival everyone expected. It has that premium design consumers expect, but it still retains the Sony signature design. This phone also offers customizable user interface themes as well as matching cover accessories. This feature likely will appeal to younger consumers who appreciate customized features.
The new Xperia phone will work with many of Sony’s accessories, including Bluetooth speakers and headsets. The Xperia is also a great phone for those who like to take their entertainment on the go. It features a new app called PartyShare that lets users share their music with everyone in the room through Wi-Fi.
