HTC Set To Unveil The One Flagship Smartphone March 1

Updated on

HTC is rumored to be planning to unveil the next One flagship handset during an event one day (March 1) before the Mobile World Congress starts. The mobile phone maker sent out a teaser called “Utopia in Progress.” Underneath the title was the message, “Join us to see what’s next.”

The rumored Hima Ace Plus smartphone

It’s no secret that HTC has long been struggling to bring up its lagging sales, although it did enjoy a little bit of success from last quarter’s revenue spike thanks to its mid-range Desire line. The latest rumor involves a new HTC phone called the Hima Ace Plus. It is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch body, 2,560 x 1,440-pixel display, ultra-thin bezel, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and fingerprint scanner. Perhaps the best feature of this rumored device is the 20-megapixel rear camera and 4-megapixel UltraPixel selfie camera.

Another exciting debut at upcoming Mobile World Congress event

There is a lot to look forward to at the Mobile World Congress event. Tech Faith just announced that its lineup at this year’s event will include a smartwatch, rugged 4G/LTE smartphones and notepads. Tech Faith President and COO Deyou Dong explained, “We always look forward to the annual GSMA Mobile World Congress. This remains an excellent platform for us to reach our global customer base and to engage in productive discussions with potential customers, partners, investors and analysts. Because GSMA is one of the industry’s largest trade shows, and because of the show’s focus on mobile, attendance is typically quite high, with everyone seeking to take a pulse of the latest technology innovations in mobile communications.”

One of the devices that will be showcased during the event will be the A-Watch, a rugged, waterproof wearable. It features a personalized fitness manager, e-Compass, heart rate sensor, and smart notifications through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity.
