Updated on

Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are receiving a lot of buzz ahead of their expected release at the Mobile World Congress. But a large number of consumers are also looking forward to the arrival of Galaxy Note 5. Based on Samsung’s usual refresh cycle, the Galaxy Note 5 launch is more than half-a-year away.

Galaxy Note 5 with 5.9-inch display

There are little concrete details about the Note 5. But concept designers have started coming up with exciting renderings of the device. One such design is from Maryum Ayub (via Concept Phones). Ayub imagines the Galaxy Note 5 with a full-metal body and curved screen. It’s one of the best concepts of the phablet so far.

Ayub’s concept design packs a 5.9-inch 4K Super AMOLED Display, a 3.2GHz octa-core Exynos processor, Android 6.0, and 4GB RAM. Further, the device has 19MP main snapper with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4.7-megapixel front camera. It comes with a bezel-free display, Hover Over technology for S Pen stylus, and a giant 3,700mAh Li-ion battery.

A 6mm thin Galaxy Note 5

Customers have very high expectations from the Galaxy Note 5 for the success of Note 4. The Note 5 has a curved display on both sides. There is another interesting concept from Ninsati Studios. Ninsati’s rendering has a unibody aluminum design with a huge speaker on the back panel. The Home button also appears to be of metal.

Ninsati Studios’ visualization has almost the same bezel thickness as the Galaxy Note 4. A pattern on the back panel gives the device a premium feel. At 6mm thickness, the Galaxy Note 5 is thin and comfortable. The concept Galaxy Note 5 has a 4,200mAh battery that offers 22hours of use. It packs 21-megapixel main camera and 8MP front camera with LED flash.

Further, the concept Note 5 has a 5.75-inch Super AMOLED display, an improved S Pen stylus, 4GB RAM and 3.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor.
