Apple has created corporate history by reporting a profit of $18 billion in the first-quarter of 2015. The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus drove iPhone sales to a record high of 74.5 million units during the quarter. The Cupertino company reported a revenue of $74.6 billion as sales in China skyrocketed 70%. Though the iPhone 6 is just four months old, many Apple fans are already looking forward to the iPhone 7. Design-minded techies have started coming up with interesting concepts imagining what Apple’s next iPhone would look like.

iPhone 7 with A10 processor

A new iPhone 7 concept has everything you wish to see in the next-gen smartphone. Created by Yasser Farahi of the Netherlands (via Cult of Mac), the concept shows a sleeker phone with thinner bezels. It is just 6.1mm thick and weighs 114 grams. The concept imagines the iPhone 7 with 12-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front snapper. Farahi has moved the volume buttons to the right side of the phone to offer better reachability.

Though experts believe that Apple will launch iPhone 6S this year and iPhone 7 in 2016, there have been rumors that the Cupertino company could launch both devices this year, one in June and another in September/October. Farahi imagines the iPhone 7 with A10 processor and 5GB RAM, suggesting a 2016 release for the device. Farahi told Cult of Mac that he designed a phone that he would personally love to hold in his hand.

iPhone 7 shouldn’t have the camera protrusion

Yasser Farahi has kept the rounded, shiny edges of the iPhone 6, but removed the visible antenna lines from the concept. He also hates the camera protrusion in the iPhone 6. Farahi said there should be a way of extruding the lens only when the camera app starts. Note that it’s just a concept, and the actual device may or may not look like Farahi’s rendering.
