Vivo Introduces World’s Thinnest Smartphone In China

Vivo just launched the world’s thinnest smartphone in China. The new phone is called Vivo X5 and it measures 4.75mm thin which means it trumps Oppo’s 4.85mm thin R5 phone. Previous rumors purported the new Vivo phone would be thinner than 4mm.

Other specifications of the phone include a 5.5 inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, 64-bit octa-core processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, 200mAh battery, and Android 4.4 operating system.

The handset measures 153.90 × 78.00 × 4.75mm. It also sports dual 4G LTE. The price of the new phone is 2998Yuan (roughly $485 in United States dollars). The phone will be available December 22nd.
