BlackBerry shows signs of revival under Chen

BlackBerry Passport was named the “most exciting smartphone” in a survey conducted by The Verge. Passport features a 4.5-inch square touch display with 1440 x 1440 resolution and 453ppi pixel density. It comes with 13-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone is powered by a massive 3,450mAh battery, 3GB RAM and 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It has 32GB of built-in storage.

The Z30 sports 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 resolution, 8MP rear camera, 2GB RAM and dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm MSM8960T Pro chipset. The phone is powered by 2880mAh battery. Despite its impressive features, the Z30 wasn’t a great success. However, all three devices launched by John Chen – Z3, Passport and Classic – have been successful.
