Perpetrator Uses GTA V Tactics In Real Life to Attempt Police Evasion

Updated on

Video games are a fun way to kick back and relax after a long work day, either by yourself or with friends.  With many different types of games, there is always something to choose from and certainly.  Some of the top games over the past decade, without a doubt for Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s Xbox consoles and Sony Corp (ADR) (NYSE:SNE)’s PlayStation consoles are Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATVI)’s very successful Call of Duty franchise and Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO)’s massive hit franchise, GTA V.  Both franchises have had numerous installments and are always two very sought after games.

While both of these games may be very popular and successful, their violent content is not for everyone.  Aside from being rated “M” for mature and designed for people aged 17 and older, some older people still can not handle the game without entering another persona.

Firstly, part of GTA V’s appeal is the fact that it is an unrealistic scenario based game in which you can walk up to people rob them, carjack, open fire on crowds, evade police, etc.  In the game, it is easy to simply walk up to a person, beat them take their money, carjack an individual’s car, get into a police chase, and then it is as easy as getting a quick paint job to have the police give up looking for you.  Obviously, this is not real life and police wouldn’t just give up looking for you.

Police evasion GTA V-style

One man recently decided to take to the streets and recreate portions from the latest Grand Theft Auto game, GTA V.  The suspect first took to carjacking in the similar GTA V fashion, open doors and forcibly rip the person out of the car, then continue on your way by cutting off other people and hitting everything around you in the car, damaging the car.  After the car was damaged to the point of unable to drive, the suspect once again jumped out of the car and took to carjacking once again in similar fashion.  It is at this point that law enforcement begins to get on his tail and bring this clown to justice.  But first, he decides to try a few other GTA V tricks such as driving on the wrong side of the road, speeding through busy streets, and busting through red lights.

Unfortunately, for this individual, police evasion is not easy like it is on GTA V.  Playing a video game is one thing, but trying to create mayhem and recreate violent acts is just not acceptable in society.  As you would suspect, police were able to stop this person and place appropriate charges on his.  Bottom line here, keep all your GTA V fantasies to the game and don’t go around thinking you are some hotshot and possessed by a video game.
