Nexus 6 Arrives On AT&T For $250; Sprint Pre-orders To Begin Nov.14

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s Nexus 6 has finally arrived on telecom carriers. The Internet giant began taking pre-orders for its new flagship smartphone through its Play Store late last month. But the device sold out on the first day itself. Unlike its predecessors, Nexus 6 will also be sold through major U.S. carriers.

Unlocked Nexus 6 to cost $682.99 on AT&T

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced that it would start taking pre-orders for Nexus 6 on Wednesday, Nov.12 online as well as in-store. Initially, the device is available only in midnight blue color. AT&T hasn’t specified when it would fulfill the orders, so there could be a lengthy wait. The company has priced the device at $682.99 off-contract, slightly higher than Google’s standard pricing of $649.

If you sign up for a two-year contract with AT&T, you’ll have to shell out $249.99. You can also get it for zero down payment using AT&T’s Next plant. With Next 24, you are required to pay $22.77 per month for 30 months. Next 18 requires 24 monthly payments of $28.46, while Next 12 service gets you the phone for $34.15 per month for 18 months.

T-Mobile pushed back Nexus 6 release by a week

Sprint Corporation (NYSE:S) revealed that it will start taking pre-orders for Nexus 6 in-store and online on Friday, Nov.14. Sprint says you can get the device on Nov.14, indicating that it may have some inventory available. The company is offering Nexus 6  with zero down payment and 24 monthly installments of $29 each or $696 total. Pricing of telecom carriers suggests that they are giving no special treatment to Google.

T-Mobile US Inc (NYSE:TMUS) was also scheduled to kick off pre-orders today (Wednesday, Nov.12). T-Mobile offers the phone for zero down payment and 24 monthly payments of $27.08. That means the total device price will be $649.92. However, the company has pushed back the pre-order date by a week to Nov.19 to make sure it has ample stock.

Verizon is yet to reveal its plans for the Nexus 6. So, the phone may arrive a little late on the Big Red.
