Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930)’s next flagship smartphone Galaxy S6 is still a few months away from launch. The Korean company releases its new Galaxy S phone around the Mobile World Congress. So, we can expect the Galaxy S6 to be announced in March. Samsung is reportedly designing its new phone under the Project Zero with a whole new design.

We don’t know what Samsung has up its sleeves, but a new concept from 3G.co.uk shows the device with a damn good design. It will build on the premium metal design introduced with the Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy S6 concept combines premium metal-and-glass unibody design with cutting-edge specifications. The device is just 6.7mm thick and weighs 140g.

The Galaxy S6 concept has a non-removable back cover, which may annoy some users. But it is aimed at accentuating the premium feel of the phone. You’ll be able to pop-in a microSD card and remove your SIM using a “push-to-eject” mechanism. The rendering shows Galaxy S6 in four colors: black, white, silver and gold. Further, the Galaxy S6 adopts a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with 2560×1440 pixels resolution. It gives the device a pixel density of 564ppi.

Galaxy S6 to be compatible with the Gear VR headset

Galaxy S6 rendering flaunts the powerful 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-core processor, backed by an Adreno 430 GPU for top-notch gaming performance.Samsung could make the smartphone compatible with its Gear virtual reality headset. It runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. The newest Android supports 64-bit architecture, which means faster app loading, better multi-tasking and an improved overall performance.

The Galaxy S6 will reportedly boast of 4GB RAM. The concept design says the device will come with 20-megapixel main camera with 4K video recording and optical image stabilization. The front snapper will be 3.7MP. The device will have a heart-rate sensor on the reverse and fingerprint sensor on the home-screen button. It will also support the latest 4G LTE standards, NFC< Bluetooth and WiFi. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S6 will have a 3,300mAh battery.
