AT&T and Amazon Team-up to More Affordable Cloud Solutions

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced its partnership with Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) to provide a more affordable, secure and high-performing cloud solutions for enterprises.

The telecommunications company said it was working with the e-commerce giant to extend the AT&T NetBondSM to the Amazon Web Services (AWS).

According to AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), extending the NetBondSM will provide customers with high-perming and highly-secure choice to connect to AWS. They will can scale their network at the same rate as their enterprise-class applications run on the AWS Cloud.

AWS combined with AT&T NetBond offers best security and performance

In a statement, Jon Summers, senior vice president, mobile & business solution at AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) said, “Our customers want the computing power and cost-efficiency that cloud services deliver with the best security and performance.”

Summers said the extensive portfolio of AWS combined with AT&T NetBond offers customers with the best security and performance. He emphasized that their customers would have VPN performance; full cloud networking automation, flexible and secure bandwidth when accessing AWS cloud services.

The AT&T NetBond adjusts the size of the pathway to the cloud dynamically as data needs change. It also gives customers the control to the network and to implement an integrated design quickly.

In addition, AT&T NetBond allows customers to access business applications and information stored in AWS and bypass the public internet and associated risks. Furthermore, it improves performance up to 50% and triples the best experience on the internet.

According to AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), companies will be able to save as much as 60% on networking costs with AT&T NetBond as it works with its VPN seamlessly. Customers don’t need to order or manage any other equipment of access line.
