Apple Inc. To Open Up Second Retail Store In Turkey

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is expanding retail presence in Turkey. After a huge retail store launch in Instabul in early 2014, The iPhone maker is set to launch it’s second store inside Instanbul’s Akasya Shopping Center.

The first Apple store in Instabul was located at the upscale Zorlu center. It is located in a subterranean spot underneath a mall plaza. However, the second store will feature a more traditional look thanks to the fact it will be located in an indoor mall.

Apple’s plan for new retail stores

In the past few weeks, Apple has announced expansion plans for opening retail stores in Europe and the United States. Such planned locations including Edinburgh, Scotland; Venice, Italy, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Georgia. Now that the end of another year is near, there  is focus on building its retail presence during the busiest shopping season of the year.

The sheer demand for the iPhone and iPad is just one of the many reasons Apple is focuses on increasing its retail presence. And since there is such a huge focus on global sales, it is necessary for the company to put a physical retail presence in many countries.

A boost in production for iPhone 6 Plus

In other Apple related news retail availability for the iPhone 6 Plus increased thanks to production boost. Tech Times reports the device is now available tor reservations at many Apple stores. This is the result of the company’s recent focus on iPhone 6 Plus production. Last month when Apple announced it would offer two versions of the iPhone 6 in different sizes, it was believed the iOS maker wanted to compete better with large Android phablets from rivals like Samsung, HTC, and more.

Diversifying product selection is not a foreign concept to the tech leader, which has offered the iPod in different sizes. The iWatch, which won’t be available until early next year, also comes in three different styles with many more colors and style options to choose from.
