Apple runs its own device recycling program, and iPhone users can earn as much as $225 in a gift card on devices that are in good condition, according to a price quote on Tuesday. The price quote depends upon the iPhone’s condition. When the customer sends the phone to a recycle zone, it is evaluated and the final price is decided. Thereafter, a gift card will be sent to the customer via email.
eBay and Craigslist are always at the service of those wanting to sell second-hand items, but those not very comfortable with the idea of dealing with strangers and who would rather go for an automated system can resort to various websites. These websites accept all kind of phones, but if the iPhone 5, 5S or 5C is in good condition, then users can earn enough bucks to cover the maximum price of an iPhone 6.

Users looking to sell their Apple iPhone 5c and 5s can also opt for Glyde, a site where iPhone owners can get around $237.72 for AT&T and Verizon devices with a “few scratches.” The website also hands out $165.04 for the old blue 16-GB Sprint model. Another site is Gazelle, which is good for customers who want to sell their devices after they get a new one. On the site, the user can lock the current selling price of the second-hand iPhone and get a grace period up to Oct. 10. A drawback is that here the customer won’t get as much money compared to other websites. For iPhone 5 or iPhone 5C owners, Gazelle is not the right website. However, iPhone 5S owners can get good value for their phones, says the report.
