This new service will make it possible for the owners of BlackBerry devices to connect their smartphones using other devices such as desktops, laptops and tablets, and the details of this service are already available.

Blend may come along with BlackBerry Passport

The much-anticipated premium handset Passport, designed for the enterprise customers, will be unveiled on the 24th of September. A grand launch event is planned by the company at three locations – Toronto, London and Dubai. Moreover, as well as the launch of Passport; we could also see the unveiling of the new Blackberry Blend service as well. It is also expected that we will see the release of BlackBerry Q20.

This new service is listed on BlackBerry World under the section ‘My World,’ but on clicking it leads to an error page. CrackBerry was the first to report the listing, and they have detailed the features of this service. The service will make it possible for Blend-compatible BlackBerry handset users to access all their information on their tablets and PCs in the office. Moreover, in all businesses using BlackBerry Enterprise Services 10 (BES10), users can also use Blend to access the company’s intranet.

One Blend multiple uses

BlackBerry Hub consists of many user accounts, and users can view and reply to the messages using any of those accounts with the help of BlackBerry Blend. Users can also access their BBM chats, groups and Channels. The schedules set by the users on a daily, weekly and monthly basis can also be viewed. Blend also allows users to add or edit existing calendar entries. The tasks that a user creates with the help of BlackBerry Desktop Software or BlackBerry Link can also be completed with the help of Blend.

The ability to create a back-up of data and restore it is also included in the Blend service. The new service also allows for switching between two devices and copying music, videos and images between devices running on the BB10 OS.
