Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:0059935) is gearing up for the release of the upcoming Galaxy Note 4, and there are plenty of questions to be answered while fans anticipate the phone’s arrival. Fortunately, there are plenty of rumors and reports to satisfy everyone’s curiosity.

Top predictions for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4

This phone is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming IFA show in Berlin, which starts in early September. There were a few rumors suggesting that the Galaxy Note 4 will arrive a little bit sooner, perhaps on Sept. 3. However, there is still no official word on when the smartphone will hit stores.

The Note 4 will reportedly feature a 2560 x 1440 QHD Super AMOLED 5.7 inch screen, an octa-core Exynos 5433 chip, 3GB of RAM, a Touchwhiz interface, and stylus support. Although there are rumors that this phone will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will most likely come with the 4.4 KitKat version of the operating system.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy Note 4 will most likely come with a 16MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. Other rumored specs include 4G LTE connectivity, wireless charging support, a fingerprint scanner, and microSD card storage. The price for the upcoming phone is still unknown.

What fans should expect

The senior vice president for Samsung’s Product Strategy Team said the company’s ultimate goal is to create products that customers really want. The goal is to find a breakthrough in the stagnant premium market.

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:0059935) is a solid tech company that is known for quality products, and it is one of the few companies that can hold a candle to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s success. This is why it’s no surprise that the Galaxy Note 4 is a highly anticipated phone.  Given the expected time frame for this phone’s debut, it is pretty clear that this model will be a direct rival for the upcoming iPhone 6. Although Samsung already released the Galaxy S5 earlier this year, everyone has their eyes on the next two big smartphones.
