Samsung Galaxy S6 Features Wishlist

Updated on

Samsung’s next-gen device Galaxy S6 is already in development, even though the company is still promoting the sales of the earlier version. Galaxy S5 was launched earlier this year, but failed to capture a great deal of attention because the South Korean manufacturer spent too much on advertising rather than inventing new features and specifications. Galaxy S5 was not much more than an advanced version of the S4, so the S6 will need new cutting-edge features to satisfy demanding consumers.

Below is a list of features that users would love to see in the next-gen device from Samsung.

Desirable features for the Galaxy S6

the Samsung Galaxy S5 back cover panel was not popular. The design and chassis of Galaxy S6 were adequate, but a completely different form factor would have been a better option for Samsung.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) is apparently working on 2K and 4K displays for smartphones. It is expected that the Galaxy S6 would have 2K display with a strong battery.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) did not offer a 64 bit processor in the S5, probably to differentiate itself from Apple iPhone. The 64 bit is better than the 32 bit, and Galaxy S6 should have one.  Also, Galaxy S6 should have more RAM than its predecessors.

Customers and gadget geeks are also expecting a foldable design, which would give a whole new feel to the Samsung phone. The new phone should also have greater durability and flexibility, better than Samsung Galaxy Round.

The Samsung S6 should have a better battery with more power and faster wireless charging. The 2,800 mAh battery in the Galaxy S5 was better than its predecessor, but the display was also bigger. Samsung should do away with its indigenous apps as Google already offers similar apps. Furthermore, a 16GB phone should have 10GB of free space.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has just one speaker, whereas HTC One comes with double speakers. The Sony Z2 also offers double speakers. The sound quality should also be better with the Samsung Galaxy S6. Samsung fans would also like to see DAB chips in upcoming smartphones

Samsung may unveil Prime before S6

the latest rumors suggest that Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) (KRX:005930) will launch Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime before Galaxy S6.

The Galaxy S5 Prime will apparently have a metal chassis much liked the Sony Xperia Z2 and HTC One M8. According to the latest reports, the Galaxy S5 Prime will have a 2560×1440 QHD display, quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM and a powerful 3000mAh battery. The expected release date for Galaxy S5 Prime is June, but officials have not confirmed the launch date yet.
